“Blue Flag” – Ecological Award for Cleanliness and comfort

Blue Flag and What Does It Mean At the Beaches

How many flags at the beach do you recognize? A green flag, a yellow flag and a red flag. That’s right. If we want to spend some nice time by the sea, it will be better to pay attention to the flag at the beach and not go in the water when it is not safe.
But have you ever heard of the Blue Flag? If not, be sure it is worth paying attention to it either.

The Blue Flag is not just a sign, it is a reward given to the most perfect beaches all over the world. It is a guarantee for pure water, clean coasts, safety and access for all.

According to the international association:
The iconic Blue Flag is one of the world’s most recognised voluntary eco-labels awarded to beaches, marinas, and sustainable boating tourism operators. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained.
Blue Flag is given to 4558 beaches, marinas and boats in 44 countries in the world. And we are more than happy to say that some of those beaches are here in Bulgaria.

When choosing a Blue Flag Beach, you will get:

  • Perfectly clear water
  • Perfectly clean and safe beach
  • Perfectly equipped beach area
  • At those beaches you will care about nothing else but having fun, about nothing else but bathing in the sea, rolling in the sand over and over again until the sun goes down and ever after that.
  • Those beaches are like pieces of heaven that came down on Earth.

One of those beaches is the beach of Oasis Resort & Spa Lozenets. Be our guest! Have your own piece of Heaven!
